In line control of cup, width and wane for sorting, turning or reject
Do you have the right measurement equipment to sort, turn or reject your products in a correct way?
ProfiCura Dim is a laser sensor from LIMAB with outstanding performance regarding accuracy and scanning speed. The sensor measures and analyses the shape and profile of boards, both for longitudinal and transversal saw line processes.
One advantage with our sensor is the capability to scan the complete width and shape of the board, eliminating possible errors from vibrations and other movements caused by the conveyor. All calculations are done directly in in the sensor and there is no need for an external PC or control unit.
ProfiCura Dim
ProfiCura Dim is a smart 2D sensor for the following applications in longitudinal and transversal saw line processes.
- Cup: for cup turning with 0,2 mm accuracy
- Width: for accurate sorting based on the board width
- Wane: for turning or reject based on the wane geometry.
The sensor can easily be retrofitted to existing lines and is configured with a LIMAB PC software. The ProfiCura Dim has different interface options, such as Ethernet, Profibus and Modbus, making it possible to directly communicate with you PLC.

El evento se realizó el viernes 14 de noviembre, en la Estancia Ñemity, ubicada en San Juan Nepomuceno, Caazapá, donde se encontraron productores agropecuarios, técnicos, contratistas, estudiantes y empresas del rubro para observar en acción el negocio forestal del futuro.
Impulsan la investigación en resinas de pino del NEA
La forestoindustria es uno de los sectores de mayor peso en las economías de Misiones y Corrientes. Miles de hectáreas de pino abastecen a la industria del papel, la celulosa, los tableros y el aserrío. Pinus elliottii, una de las especies implantadas en la región, además de aportar madera, se utiliza para producir resina, un producto forestal no maderero con alta demanda en las industrias química, farmacéutica y cosmética. En 2\024 se alcanzó una extracción de resina de unas 52.6\0\0 toneladas provenientes de aproximadamente 18.\0\0\0.\0\0\0 de árboles en producción generando ingresos y empleos con un alto potencial de expansión.
