Uno de los tesoros naturales de Río Negro cumple 23 años bajo la ley de protección que permite su conservación. Dónde queda y cómo se formó. Río Negro celebra 23 años de conservación en el bosque petrificado como Área Natural Protegida (ANP). Se trata de un espacio de 625 hectáreas que resguarda un yacimiento excepcional de troncos fósiles que datan de hace más de 60 millones de años.
