A new export from Entre Ríos began this Saturday with the entry of the African Quail ship to the port of Concepción del Uruguay. The grocery store began loading pine and eucalyptus logs and will later move to Ibicuy to complete some 30,000 tons that will be sent to India.
The ship, from Brazil, arrived at noon and moored around 12 at docks 14, 15 and 16. The arrival of the ultramarine occurred just 15 days after another international operation carried out from the Uruguayan port. On that occasion, nearly 20,000 tons of soy flour were exported to Denmark. The new operation was in charge of Urcel Argentina, the company responsible for comprehensive logistics. The tasks range from the transfer of the logs from the cultivated forests to their placement in the ships holds. The company is also in charge of marketing the production in international markets. On this occasion, the shipment is composed of pine and eucalyptus logs transported in bulk. Sustained movement of the logistics chain The president of the Ente Puerto Concepción del Uruguay, Marcos Di Giuseppe, highlighted the movement generated around the operation and its impact on the activities linked to the port complex. It is a bulk carrier that will load about 18,000 tons in Concepción del Uruguay and will complete its loading in Ibicuy. Once the shipment is completed, the ship will begin its international journey with its final destination to the port of Kandla.
