Japanese companies will show how to build a wooden house in one day at the Expo Madera Paraguay

Among the planned contents, a subtitled video will be projected that will show how a wooden house is built in approximately one day. As part of the preparations, representatives of the aforementioned firms held a meeting with the Paraguayan Federation of Loggers (FEPAMA), represented by its general manager, Shirley Zavala. The meeting was also accompanied by Paola Subeldía, Commercial Attaché of the Republic of Paraguay in Japan, who has been supporting the rapprochement and connection between representatives of the Japanese business sector and Paraguay.During the Expo, the Japanese will give a brief introduction to both companies and will address the size of the Japanese market, the specific uses of wood in construction, the situation of wood imports in Japan and the criteria for the acquisition and use of materials for the construction of homes. From the Japanese market to ParaguayThe exhibition will allow us to learn about different aspects of the Japanese market linked to the use of wood in construction. Representatives of the companies will talk about the specific uses of the material, wood imports in Japan and the criteria acquisition and use of inputs for the construction of homes. The panel will be made up of Koshi Niibori, CEO of System Design Limited Inc.; Akihiro Ishizaki, Import Manager of System Design Limited Inc.; and Ken Nakagoe, CEO of SD Paraguay SRL. The participation of a representative of Innosho Forestry Co., Ltd., whose name has yet to be confirmed, is also scheduled. The Japanese presence represents an institutional step for Expo Madera Paraguay, since for the first time in the history of the fair a Japanese company will have its own stand within the exhibition. Greater international presence The Japanese presence joins the confirmed business delegations from Sweden and Chile, expanding the international component of Expo Madera Paraguay 2026. Sweden will arrive with a mission made up of more than ten companies and organizations linked to heavy machinery, forestry technology, logistics and industrial equipment. The delegation, coordinated by Business Sweden, will have an exclusive pavilion within the exhibition. Seven companies related to services, technology and innovation applied to forestry activity will participate from Chile. The Chilean presence is coordinated by ProChile. Japan, for its part, will mark a presence with two companies, whose representatives will also maintain activities linked to the exhibition and the Paraguayan forestry sector. The international presence reflects the growing interest in the development of the Paraguayan forestry and timber sector and strengthens Expo Madera Paraguay as a connection space between national companies, investors, buyers and international actors linked to the entire value chain. Expo Madera Paraguay 2026 is organized by the FEPAMA and the Center for Business Cooperation and Industrial Development (CEDIAL). The fair will offer forums, specialized panels, business conferences, a scientific research contest and machinery demonstrations, with the participation of producers, industrialists, investors, builders, technological suppliers, academic representatives and references from the public sector. The activity seeks to show the potential, investment opportunities and development of the forestry and timber industry of Paraguay, at the same time generating spaces for commercial linkage and exchange between national and international actors.
