Misiones | UNAM FCF students participated in the Innova Cities Fair after winning forest-industrial hackathon
Students of the Faculty of Forest Sciences (FCF) of the UNAM, Eldorado headquarters, participated in the 14th Innova Cities Fair, held at the Center for Teacher Agreements - Rest Catasa Recala, in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.
His presence in the event took place after consecrating winners of forest-industrial hackathon, organized in conjunction with the Ministry of Missions Industry and the Amayadap and Apicofom business chambers. During the day, the young people attended the Latin American encounter of artificial intelligence, which included talks on education 4.0, Open Source, renewable energy and intelligent tourism. They also participated in the Conference on Generative Artificial Intelligence and in the official opening of the event. From the FCF they stressed that the experience ?allowed students to expand knowledge, be inspired and link with international specialists and referents in innovation and smart cities.? With this trip, the process of forest-industrial hackon was completed, which included the delivery of the three awards planned for the winning teams. Initiatives strengthen our students and contribute to professionally link them with institutions and companies in the environment, in the search for new and innovative ways to overcome the challenges, they pointed out from the area of ??extension of the faculty.
