South American Delegation of the Forest Industry will visit Finland and Estonia in search of innovation
A delegation of 27 executives from the South American forest industry will travel in September to Finland and Estonia as part of the Sawmill Safari 2025 program. The mission, organized by the Niina FU consultancy in cooperation with the Jartek Invest Oy (Finland) and As Hekotek (Estonia) companies, seeks to explore European technological solutions to modernize the sector in the region.
The visit program will focus on the digitalization of sawmills, with a particular emphasis on the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI), the improvement of production efficiency and sustainable development. A view of the Vanguardia -September 3 technology, the delegation will have the opportunity to visit the Sawmill Rauma plant, operated by Metsä Fiber in Finland.
