Misiones solicito los fondos correspondientes a la Ley de Bosques Nativos durante la reunion del COFEMA
Con la presencia del Ministro de Ecologia de Misiones y presidente del Consejo Federal de Medio Ambiente (COFEMA), Martin Recaman, se llevo a cabo en Buenos Aires la primera reunion de la Comision de Bosques Nativos. Este encuentro tuvo como objetivo principal discutir la asignacion de fondos para el ano 2024 segun lo estipulado por la Ley 26.331.
Durante la reunion, el
director de Bosques de la Subsecretaria de Ambiente de la Nacion, Octavio Perez
Pardo, expuso los principales aspectos y el estado actual de la Ley de
Presupuestos Minimos de Proteccion Ambiental de los Bosques Nativos, comunmente
conocida como Ley de Bosques. Ademas, presento detalles sobre el proyecto Pago
por Resultados REDD+ del Fondo Verde para el Clima.
El encuentro tambien abordo temas clave
como la actualizacion de los ordenamientos territoriales de bosques nativos, la
implementacion del Sistema de Administracion, Control y Verificacion Forestal
(SACVeFoR), el Sistema de Alerta Temprana (SAT) y el registro de infractores.
En representacion de Misiones, asistio tambien el Director General de Bosques
Nativos, el ingeniero Milton Moran.
El
evento estuvo presidido por el Secretario de Turismo, Ambiente y Deportes,
Daniel Scioli, quien destaco la importancia de la transferencia de fondos
establecidos por la Ley 26.331. Scioli subrayo que estos recursos son esenciales
para la implementacion de planes de manejo y conservacion en todas las
provincias.
El funcionario nacional enfatizo la
relevancia de estas iniciativas para la salud y el bienestar de las
comunidades, asi como su papel en las cadenas de produccion, generacion de
empleo y sostenimiento de economias regionales, especialmente en zonas rurales.
«La deforestacion no solo pone en riesgo los ecosistemas, sino que tambien
amenaza con el cumplimiento de los compromisos internacionales», senalo Scioli,
quien hizo un llamado a fortalecer las herramientas de control y monitoreo.
Misiones,
en esta ocasion, solicito que se entreguen los fondos de la Ley de Bosques
Nativos correspondientes a este ano, ya que el pago se encuentra retrasado, y
la provincia requiere de los mismos para fortalecer los trabajos en materia de
conservacion y proteccion de los bosques.

Construction of wooden buildings: these are the new projects in Argentina and the region
As shown in the Paris Olympic Games, the wood industry seeks to be the protagonist in the construction of homes and buildings where sustainability are the basis of development. In the world there are about 140 mass wooden buildings, with structures of eight floors or more, among which are already finished, under construction or in development stages, according to data from the High Building Council and Urban Habitat (CTBUH, by its acronym in English). Most of these projects are in Europe and North America, but in our region some proposals have already begun and there are concrete projects in Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Peru and Mexico. In favor, wood has the support of those who fight against climate change. The cities are the cause and probably part of the solution in this crusade since they are responsible for 70 % of carbon emissions.
