Martín Sánchez Acosta said goodbye to INTA Concordia after 43 years of career, 600 Forest News bulletins and more than 15 thousand contacts

“This issue could perhaps be titled “My last Bulletin,” wrote the agronomist and forestry engineer, communicator and great friend of the profession, Martín Sánchez Acosta. "As of November 1, my retirement begins and I will no longer belong to INTA," he shared with his colleagues and more than 15 thousand contacts about his new stage of projects and enjoyment.

«There have been 43 years of forestry career, the first 12 belonging to our long-awaited IFONA, beginning in 1980 in Tierra del Fuego working in native forests and then moving in 1983 to the INTA-IFONA-Government of Entre Ríos agreement, based at INTA Concordia , until in 1992 when with the dissolution of IFONA they incorporated me into this institution, where I have worked to date," recalled the communicator and agronomist and forestry engineer, Martín Sánchez Acosta.
As a premonition he wrote this last newsletter, reaching Number 600. «I knew that we were not going to publish number 700, since that is what young people will be there for. I take advantage of this opportunity to say goodbye to my formal job at INTA, although it is likely that we will continue doing some things, especially in relation to training and construction with wood," Martín said about the new projects to be undertaken at this stage, since his passion for the development of the forest-industry in his motivation in life.
The surname Sánchez Acosta began in the forestry issue with Roberto Sánchez Acosta in the National Forest Administration. Martín then continued with IFONA and his successors are two nephews Facundo (already graduated) and Ezequiel Sánchez Acosta, who is soon to graduate from the University of La Plata, thus ensuring the continuity of heirs of forestry knowledge.
"I send a cordial greeting to all, with the conviction that we foresters know that we are a link in a chain that has no end," he said in his farewell from this institutional space.

MARTIN IS WITHOUT A DOUBT AN ADDED VALUE FOR FOREST COMMUNICATION IN ARGENTINA, A GENEROUS COLLEAGUE FOR TRANSFERRING KNOWLEDGE. He is A PRIVILEGE FOR JOURNALISTS WHO FIND THIS PATH OF THE PROFESSION WITH A "TRANSLATOR" AND GUIDE OF THE TECHNICAL TOPICS OF WOOD AND CONSTRUCTION, BUT EVEN MORE OF HIS HUMAN QUALITY AND EXCELLENT HUMOR.
