¿Por qué son las pasarelas de playa de madera?
La madera es un producto muy versátil como ya hemos visto en multitud de ejemplos. Hoy vamos a hablar de las pasarelas de las playas de madera.
Las pasarelas de playa de madera son aquellas que nos dan acceso a la playa, especialmente en zonas donde la orografía no es adecuada para el tránsito, o simplemente para facilitar el acceso.
Las pasarelas de playa son de madera ya que es un material que se mimetiza con el medio físico, no generando un impacto visual agresivo. Además, la madera es un material ecológico, natural y renovable, que contribuye a la buena conservación de los montes.
La elección tanto del tipo de pasarela como de la madera que se va a utilizar está condicionado por muchos aspectos. El tipo de pasarela de madera será en función principalmente de lascondiciones orográficas de la zona. La elección del tipo de madera es un aspecto más complejo, en el que hay que tener en cuenta más factores.
En primer lugar, es muy importante determinar la clase de uso, para así poder determinar la durabilidad que es necesario exigirle a la madera. Al estar en contacto con el suelo y tratarse de zonas húmedas muchas veces en contacto directo con las duchas, le corresponde una clase de uso 4.
Para esta clase de uso necesitamos que la madera posea una durabilidad natural suficiente. En caso contrario, será necesario un tratamiento adicional. En el caso de necesitar un tratamiento adicional, correspondería con la clase de penetración NP4/NP5 (acorde a la norma UNE-EN 351-1:2008) o una penetración profunda (acorde a la norma UNE 56416:1988).
Además de su durabilidad natural frente a agentes bióticos, la resistencia a la abrasión de la madera también es muy importante, ya que la arena ejerce un efecto lija que ha de ser considerado.
