Se construirá el primer Centro Tecnológico del Mueble del país
Se inaugurará en Noviembre en Cañada de Gómez, con el objetivo de mejorar la productividad de la industria del mueble a través de la innovación tecnológica.
La creación del primer Centro Tecnológico del Mueble del país es una iniciativa público-privada, promovida por la CIMA (Cámara de la Industria Maderera y Afines de Cañada de Gómez), FUDECA (Fundación para el Desarrollo de Cañada de Gómez), el Centro Económico y la Municipalidad de Cañada de Gómez. Tiene como objetivo principal profesionalizar la industria del sector conformada por pymes.
Desde el CTM se brindará un trabajo de soporte técnico permanente a las fábricas de muebles y su cadena de valor, potenciando acciones de investigación, desarrollo, innovación y diseño. De esta manera, las pymes podrán también aumentar su potencial para colocar sus productos en los mercados nacionales e internacionales.
Entre las líneas de acción propuestas, el CTM brindará asistencia técnica en la incorporación de diseño al mueble y en el desarrollo de modelos y prototipos de productos, asesoramiento integral para la mejora de procesos productivos y de la cadena de suministros, soporte para la investigación, el desarrollo y la aplicación de nuevos materiales y tecnologías en la producción del mueble, asistencia técnica en la reutilización y gestión responsable de los residuos y en el cumplimiento de normas ambientales, soporte técnico para que las empresas se puedan desarrollar en comercio exterior.
También, se establecerá un laboratorio de Control de Calidad, destinado a brindar asesoramiento para la certificación de normas de calidad, además de salas de capacitaciones para los recursos humanos de las empresas.
Por último, se establecerá un observatorio estadístico del mueble que genere estadísticas fieles y útiles para la toma de decisiones de las empresas del mueble y las instituciones relacionadas.

The manual was elaborated in the Wood, Dendrology and Dendrocronology Anatomy Laboratory (LAMDYD) of the Faculty of Forest Sciences in Eldorado, National University of Misiones.
