The IAPV, FAIMA and IMFER signed an agreement to promote the construction of houses with wood in Entre Ríos

The signing took place this Friday, October 23 at the Casa de Entre Ríos in Buenos Aires. The agreement was signed by the president of the IAPV, Manuel Schönhals; the president of FAIMA, Mercedes Omeñuka; and the member of IMFER, Jorge Rigoni, with the participation of José Mouliá, representative of the provincial government. The agreement establishes a joint work agenda aimed at progressively incorporating industrialized construction systems with wood into the housing policies of Entre Ríos, taking advantage of the productive potential of the forest-industrial chain of the region. Among the main lines of cooperation are technical assistance, the training of professionals and workers, research into new technologies, the standardization of products and the development and validation of prototypes of wooden homes that can be applied in provincial public works.Likewise, the agreement plans to promote quality standards, strengthen the “Madera Entre Ríos” brand and promote the exchange of technical and sectoral information to accompany the development of sustainable housing solutions. Also present during the event were Guillermo Fachinello, president of the Association of Forestry Producers, Industrialists and Traders of Misiones and Norte de Corrientes (APICOFOM); Ana Faiman, coordinator of the FAIMA Housing Institute; Eduardo Horacio López Segura, member of the IAPV; and Carlos Bahr, coordinator and promoter of Expo Madera.
